DRAKESBORO - - Rev. Erskine Wade, 77, Mason Bro. Memorial Chapel Saturday, October 31, 2009:

I am sad to report Top Wade passed away today around 12 noon. He had a smile on his face as he laid there on the hospital bed.

This is a sad time at the Wade house, but we have faith and hope we will meet again.

Top Wade's final muster will be Thursday, 5 Nov 09, at 1300 hrs (1 pm) in Greenville, KY at the Greenville United Methodist Church, 144 N. Main St. Greenville, KY.

On Wednesday, 4 Nov 09, the wake will be at 1700 - 2000 hrs ( 5-8 pm) Wesley Chapel, 402 Hopkinsville St, Greenville, KY. On Friday, 5 Nov 09, Top Wade will be laid to rest at Zachery Taylor National Cemetery, in Louisville, KY

Mother & I will like to thank everyone, not just of the calls and email from the last few days, but Joy and happy Delta Company has brought Top Wade over the years. He LOVED the reunions and the friendship from his boys. He wanted to keep everyone safe and protected.

What a reunion he is having now with Delta Company!! I know he is loving it.
