Richard Lynn Adcock (back row, second from left) joined Delta Company, First Platoon in January, 1969. He was lost on March 8, 1969 due to small arms fire. Born August 9, 1948 in Hinckley, California, Rich is survived by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. Rich's platoon members remember him as warm and friendly and he was liked by all. His family remembers him fondly, as do his platoon members.
He is buried in Barstow, California.

John Adcock (Richard Adcock's father) and Alan Conger finally meet on September 19, 2003, at the Boise, Idaho Airport. There were united almost 35 years after Richard's death in Vietnam. Mr. Adcock and Alan continue to maintain a dialogue and hope that Mr. Adcock can attend our next reunion in 2006.

Richard Adcock was honored at the 2004 Delta Company reunion. This certificate was prepared for his family
