Larry Fanella was lost on June 3, 1969, as a result of entering the morning
ambush zone, in an attempt to save other members of Delta Company.
He was a Sargeant with the Second Platoon. Men from the Second Platoon who remember
him are Richard Culver, Ken Quale, Joe Lupo, Marv Songer and Dwight Sommar, among
others.
